Void Instrument is the result of an artistic residency at La Générale and Glassox with Raphaël Bastide.
This digital instrument interprets the holes in everyday objects as parameters of a new musical writing. Assisted by a custom-made system of programs and devices, Void Instrument proposes to extend the materiality of objects to the acoustic space, giving their presence the singularity of acoustic variables.
This was performed at Glassox art gallery.
This project was made possible by interaction designer Martin Meurin.
Made with Processing, OpenCV & PureData.
